The Fine Art—Graphic Design Certificate of Achievement provides fundamental skills in studio practice. Students completing this certificate will develop traditional and digital commercial design skills. This certificate is intended for students who wish to show competency in the Commercial/Graphic Design area in coordination with other fine art degree work. This certificate provides a secondary area of emphasis that can complement any Art AA or AA-T degree.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate basic drawing skills, color manipulation, and design principles in areas of emphasis.
- Demonstrate basic ability to design and present finished art. work utilizing image editing software.
- Critically evaluate digital media and graphic communication design and production techniques and their use in selected areas of emphasis.
