The Certificate of Completion in Precision Machining Essentials (Noncredit) is designed to prepare students for employment as entry-level computer numerical control (CNC) machine operators and equip transfer students with relevant hands-on skills.

The program includes the most modern software and hardware to provide a good environment for learning, in both the lecture and laboratory settings.  The inclusion of multi-axis machining, new computer-controlled laser technology, and continuing use of general manufacturing process technology gives students access to industrial tools and technologies found in the industry. Courses are aligned with industry skills and national standards to prepare students interested in starting a career in manufacturing.
