Drafting Technology: Industrial Design and Manufacturing Option, Associate in Science
Drafting Technology: Industrial Design and Manufacturing Option, Associate in Science
The Associate in Science in Drafting Technology—Industrial Design and Manufacturing Option provides students with the skills necessary to model or present a wide array of projects according to the latest standards and advances in technology. Students may choose a specific area of study or to gain broad knowledge to use in diverse fields. The use of state of the art parametric modeling programs provides students with employment and advanced education skills. Students uses some of the most modern software and modeling techniques in “real world” design problem applications providing students with the knowledge and skills needed for employment in a wide array and diverse area of employment.
This program is designed to prepare students to work as Drafting Technicians or Computer Drafters in an architectural, engineering or development office. An Associate in Science in Drafting frequently leads individuals up the career ladder.
