Sexual Harassment Complaint Procedures

A. Introduction

The District is committed to providing an academic and work environment free of unlawful harassment. All forms of harassment are contrary to basic standards of conduct between individuals, State and federal law, and District policies prohibit harassment, and the District will not tolerate harassment.

Disciplinary action, up to and including termination or expulsion, may be initiated for behavior described in the definition of harassment set forth in the District's policies and procedures.

Further, any retaliation against a student or employee for reporting harassment, making a harassment complaint, or assisting in a harassment investigation is prohibited. Any persons found to be retaliating against another employee or student shall be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination or expulsion.

All District employees who are not confidential resources are required to report allegations of sexual harassment to the Deputy Title IX/Intake Coordinator promptly.
