First Year Experience (FYE) Program

The First Year Experience (FYE) program at Oxnard College is designed to support and empower students as they transition from high school to college. Tailored specifically for first-year students, FYE provides essential tools, resources, and meaningful experiences that lay the groundwork for academic success, personal growth, and a vibrant college journey starting from day one and extending far beyond your first year.

Who Can Join FYE?

To be eligible, students must:

· Be a recent high school graduate

· Apply to the FYE program and attend Condor Fest

· Meet with an academic counselor

· Enroll as a full-time student (12 units)

· List Oxnard College as your primary college

· Priority Registration – Get early access to register for spring and summer/fall classes (available to students who meet all FYE program requirements).
