Moorpark College General Education Requirements

Moorpark College General Education Requirements

Moorpark College General Education Plan

All Students pursuing the Associate Degree (AA) must complete the Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) general education (GE) requirements in addition to coursework in their major. Most of the AA or AS Degrees at Moorpark College allow students to choose from either the Moorpark College General Education or the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC) pattern, depending on their educational goals.

Students choosing to complete the Moorpark College General Education plan, must complete it in its entirety (Areas 1-7)

This GE pattern is not designed to prepare students for transfer and does not apply to the Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT) or the Associate Degrees in General Studies Patterns 2 and 3 with an Area of Emphasis.
